Seven Metal Sins is a European heavy metal act formed in April 2024 by Stéphane Lacoude (bass) and Patrick Soria (drums), both former members of Manigance. Driven by the desire to return to a more direct and uncompromising musical approach, the band quickly took shape with the addition of guitarist Antton Iriart, vocalist Claw-G., and guitarist Frédéric Auclerc, completing a lineup rooted in experience and creative intent.
Following the release of their debut single “Hypocrisy” in April 2025, the band now presents "Legacy Of Chaos", their first full-length album. The record delivers a focused and cohesive blend of heavy metal, power metal and speed metal, combining sharp riffing, dynamic rhythms and a strong melodic framework with a modern, precise production.
Rather than relying on retro formulas, Seven Metal Sins reinterpret the core elements of traditional metal through a sharper and more contemporary lens. The album moves between high-energy passages and heavier, more controlled sections, maintaining intensity while ensuring clarity and structure across its eleven tracks. Songs such as “Scars of Injustice,” “Hypocrisy” and “Wolves of the Last Dawn” highlight the band’s ability to balance aggression and memorability, while the closing “King of Sorrow” expands the record’s emotional range.
Lyrically, "Legacy Of Chaos" reflects a world in crisis, addressing themes such as environmental decline, social instability and authoritarian drift. These topics are often framed through dystopian and science fiction imagery, creating a narrative that resonates with both present realities and possible futures.
Mixed by Jérémie Garat and mastered by Simon Capony, the album achieves a powerful and well-defined sound, reinforcing the band’s identity.
