After the debut in 2017 with "Perpendicolari", the Italian Rock Band OZORA renews agreement with Rockshots Records for the second album released on June 25, 2021
Recorded at Andrea Fusini's Fusix Studios in 2020 after the first lockdown, "Angelica" is a manifesto of fragility, anger, hope, madness and constructiveness.
The band formed by Paolo Marreddu (guitars), Davide Conti (vocals), Luca Imerito (bass) and Danilo Saccotelli (drums) tells about the new album:
“Angelica"’s The music spontaneously gave voice to common thoughts converging on the topics covered in the disc. It was then all codified and processed to make it evolve, until what you will hear. Nothing dull or rhetorical. OZORA throws reality in your face, not as nihilists, but as romantic and at the same time pissed off forty-year-olds ”.
The sound of OZORA has the constant aim of reworking the Italian heavy / rock of the past (Ritmo Tribale, In.Si.Dia, Negazione, Bluvertigo) and mixing it with modern sounds and progressive veins (Mastodon, Tool, Porcupine Tree).
“Angelica” It is not a concept album, but an album that expresses concepts. Concepts all fruit of the same mind: we tell who Ozora is. Ozora is a band of 4 angry and romantic forty-year-olds who, with anger and irony, talk about their fragility, with a stern look at the madness of man.
