The Broken is the debut full-length album from Norwegian melodic/symphonic metal band Darkest Sins, released October 21, 2016 on Pride & Joy Music (catalog PJM10339). This eight-track CD is a potent blend of classic 80s-inspired heavy metal and modern melodic hooks, featuring standout tracks like “The Broken,” “Darkest Sins,” “Fear,” and the epic 11-minute closer “Far Away” 

The disc features guest solos by Jimmy Hedlund (Falconer) on the opening track and Fabio Lione (Rhapsody of Fire) with Esa Ahonen on “Far Away”.
