Arion - Life Is Not Beautiful (CD)

Formed in 2011 at the prestigious Sibelius Lukio in Helsinki, symphonic metal band ARION started with drummer Topias Kupiainen, keyboardist Arttu Vauhkonen, and guitar prodigy Iivo Kaipainen. They quickly expanded by adding bassist Georgi Velinov and vocalist Viljami Holopainen. The band made a significant impact with their debut song "Lost" in 2013, catching the attention of Ranka Kustannus owner Riku Pääkkönen, leading to their signing and the release of their acclaimed EP "New Dawn."

ARION's debut album "Last Of Us" was a grandiose yet heartfelt entry into the symphonic metal genre, even releasing in Japan before Finland due to their unique appeal in the country. After changing vocalists in 2015 to Lassi Vääränen, the band produced hits like "At The Break Of Dawn," which gained significant radio play and streaming success. Their sophomore album "Life Is Not Beautiful" showcases mature songwriting and intense tracks, establishing ARION as a formidable force ready for the global stage, proving they have evolved far beyond their early days as teenage prodigies.
