Ahnenkult - Als Das Licht Verging (CD)

Ahnenkult, founded in 2010 in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, released their demo tape 'Kult' the same year. They followed up with two EPs, 'Allmacht' in 2014 and 'Götterkult' in 2015. Work on their album 'Als das Licht verging' began in 2012 and was completed in mid-2017 at Nahetal Klangschmiede Studio. The album explores the astrological aspects of Norse-Germanic mythology, reinterpreting well-known interpretations and viewing the sun and the god Baldur as the center of the universe.
